Hi Mxtoolsbox is reporting this DNS error,:backhand_index_pointing_down: for my domain

Primary Name Server Not Listed At Parent

Hi I wanted to know what DNS issues can this error cause on my website? and how do I fix it ?

IHi, I came across the following DNS warning while checking a domain:

WARNING: SOA MNAME (ns1.vultr.com) is not listed as a primary nameserver at your parent nameserver.

I understand that this indicates the SOA MNAME doesn’t match the nameservers configured at the registrar, but I’m trying to understand the practical impact.

Could you explain:

What issues can this mismatch cause for a website or its DNS?

Under what circumstances does it become a real problem versus just a warning?

What is the recommended way to fix it?

I have no idea yet.

The recommended way is to read the guidelines carefully that I posted and provide me with the necessary information like Website ID and domain. Then, I am able to check your DNS and see if there is any issue.
