Agency/whitelabel access https error

I had access to sitejet with a whitelabel domain (partner.1-2-appletree.nl) but unfortunately I no longer have access due to an SSL error. When I type the URL, I get the message that ‘your connection is not private’.
I have access to the URL partner.sitejet.io.
In my DNS I have a CNAME record - it has worked before, but not anymore.
What to do to solve this problem?

Hey Nico,

Could you paste your full DNS here or send me a ticket through support with the screenshot attached? Latter is probably safer.

Link this post as well.

Thanks.

I just send an email with DNS CNAME.

For the record, Sitejet team you have an error in your processes.
Every day 4h of each month, your system deactivate the SSL certificate in the domain (you must have some wrong batch process on that day). To solve it, I have to go to this url: https://partner.sitejet.io/domains then check again the SSL check mark, so that it works again until next month, on the 4th day. I Know it sounds weird, but this has been the case with my domain for more than a year now. Please review your processes and confirm this. It is very annoying to get deactivated the SSL every day 4th (having an impact on my website), until I check it again.
Thanks,

Hey there,

can you please post this as a separate bug with your website IDs? Happy to forward this to the CTO to check.

So the issue here for Nico seems to have been:

There were the old white label settings that used each subdomain from Sitejet instead of the wildcard CNAME. This could have disrupted the whitelabel to not work anymore.

Solution: remove all CNAMES to partner.* and set a Wildcard CNAME instead as described here: https://help.sitejet.io/hc/en-us/articles/24276052896919-Whitelabel-in-Sitejet

Awaiting confirmation that it worked.

Hi Andre,
Yes the new CNAMES are working. That means I can login on partner.mydomain.nl
No SSL problems anymore.
But, when I want to edit the site, I click on the button ‘Edit website’
that leads to the page https://partner.mydomain.nl/website/873631/cms
and after 2 seconds to https://cms.mydomain.nl/873631
With a scrolling icon on a grey page and nothing happened.
When I go to my window with partner.mydomain.nl I am logged out.

So it is partially solved but not working.

Hi Andre,

I have removed all CNAME lines with partner.sitejet.io in it.

I also removed an A-record with * in it, otherwise the CNAME with * would not work.

I changed a CNAME preview line, because sitejet would use it.

Enclosed my CNAME settings.

The login on https://partner.1-2-appletree.nl/ works, without SSL problems. But I can not go to edit the website.
I get a page: https://cms.1-2-appletree.nl/873631

Hey Nico, does the same issue happen, when you access it via partner.sitejet.io?

Hi Andre,
Via partner.sitejet.io it is working fine and I can edit the website.
So the problem is only via the whitelabel login.

We were able to analyze the issue and ruled out any issue with the DNS and Sitejet. Seems that something with either Firefox itself or an extension or setting is causing this local issue.

In this case, it is advised to change the browser. Chrome works fine.
