I moved a website off of Sitejet but I am still hosting the domain through Sitejet. How do I stop the website cannot be reached tickets from getting created?
Hey @David_Harris ,
would you please check if this checkbox is ticked? That is the one, that triggers these notifications:
Is the domain pointing to an active website that is online?
That checkbox is checked, but I would like to keep the notifications for other websites.
The current website causing issues was created in sitejet and published. Now I have moved it to another platform, but I want to keep the domain name hosted in sitejet. The website is currently active and being used in the other platform.
Hey David, would you have the Website ID for me? I like to check on something.
The website id is 349955
The CNAME is wrong. When you add website.sitehub.io it should go smoothly again.
I changed the CNAME because I moved the site off of the sitejet platform. I just have the domain hosted by sitejet.
Okay, great. Sorry, I just read that you wrote that already
Well, then also change the A-Records to the new website. What the system does, when you have published it is: it checks frequently if the website you have with Sitejet is the one shown on the domain.
Therefore, you are getting this message.
Whenever I change the A records, they revert back to what they were automatically. Im guessing by unpublishing you mean to change it to disable?
Hey David, due to security reasons, would you like to send me a mail to support with a link to this thread and the A-Records, that you need to set up? I am happy to test and check that for you.
Hope that is okay?
