Anyone who uses Sitejet for more than 2 hours must certainly know what I’m talking about with this bug:
You’re in sitejet studio, editing a website.
You’ve been editing elements, adding components via clicking on the element title in the Navigator sidebar tree.
After a while of editing, could be anywhere from 20 min to a half hour to an hour - Double clicking the element in the Nav tree no longer brings up the element properties panel, it does nothing. The double click no longer elicits a response.
When this happens I save and refresh the browser. Then I navigate to the page I was working in and the navigator tree works again.
I could open developer panel and see if there are javascript errors and what not, but just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue?
Yes please. Try to make a screenshot of the devs tools console and open a ticket to us, please. Copy this link here as well so we can connect those. I will try to reproduce it in the meantime as well.
Andre I encountered this again today and was able to notice a console error (this was a text element that become unresponsive in the Navigator UI):

Hi Andre, the ID is 1223383
Thanks for investigating. It hasn’t happened much lately but once in a while it locks up. I’m trying to remember what happens right before it does it so I can reproduce the steps.
My site also got screwed up 2 days ago - I thought I’d been hacked or someone had tampered with my cPanel or something. This post confirms that sitejet had or still has a problem. All of my Navigation - including pages got all messed up and were not working at all. Basically, I have to go and fix up the site again. This is a disadvantage from using templates such as WordPress, because then only I have control over the website changes and not a 3rd party company who could disappear overnight or be brought down to rubble and I am left in the dark. I am considering switching to a local downloaded WordPress theme.
Do you have more details about what you mean “screwed up”?
Did you try a backup?
And how is this confirming that Sitejet has a problem? Right now, this can be anything that is causing something. It is not even clear that its the same issue
Happy to assist and check what has happened there, if I get more details.
