Is it possible to put the customer sites and/or the whitelabel sites behind the Cloudflare proxy to use anti-bot, access control etc. from Cloudflare or will there be problems?

Ist es möglich die Kundenseiten und/oder die Whitelabel Seiten hinter die Cloudflare Proxy zu packen um Anti-Bot, Access Control etc. von Cloudflare zu nutzen oder kommt es dann zu Problemen?
We haven’t actually tested this yet and can’t make a valid 100% statement about it, let’s say very officially. But we can’t think of anything that could speak against it.
So you are welcome to test it, but we can’t offer any support on the subject.
What else I can tell you from my experience - there have always been different users with different experiences in connection with Cloudflare and Sitejet.

Wir haben das tatsächlich noch nicht getestet und können dazu, sagen wir mal sehr offiziel, keine valide 100% Aussage treffen. Uns fällt aber nichts ein, was dagegen sprechen könnte.
Also testen kannst du das gerne, nur können wir hier keinen Support anbieten bei dem Thema.
Was ich dir aus meiner Erfahrung heraus noch sagen kann - es gab immer mal wieder unterschiedliche User mit unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen im Zusammenhang mit Cloudflare und Sitejet.

I’ll test this out on the various pages one by one and then give you feedback.
The only problem I could imagine from Sitejet’s side is that Sitejet will of course no longer be able to check via DNS whether the DNS records have been set correctly, as Cloudflare IPs are returned. However, if your system has no problems with this and does not shut down the websites / remove the SSL certificates, there should be no problems.

Ich teste das dann mal nach und nach auf den verschiedenen Seiten aus und gebe danach RĂĽckmeldung.
Das einzige Problem, was ich mir von Seiten Sitejet vorstellen könnte ist, dass Sitejet dann natürlich nicht mehr via DNS überprüfen kann ob die DNS Records korrekt gesetzt wurden, da ja Cloudflare IPs returned werden. Wenn euer System damit aber keine Probleme hat und daraufhin die Webseiten nicht abschaltet / die SSL Zertifikate entfernt, dürfte es da keine Probleme geben.
A bit of feedback on my experiences so far, i will update further when figure out additional stuff.
The published website behind Cloudflare has worked flawlessly so far and the caching, page-speed and also rewrite rules of cloudflare perform perfectly. Really happy with this.
The only weird thing i noticed with Sitejet is something i already anticipated in my last post:
In the Website Manager i get a Message every 2 - 3 days telling me “Website not reachable” even tho it is. I can just disregard those messages but it is obviously not correct. I believe this is due to DNS checking, but idk. Maybe the Sitejet Devs can provide a bit more insight here.
Apart from that, so far it works great!

Die veröffentlichte Website hinter Cloudflare hat bisher perfekt funktioniert und das Caching, die Ladegeschwindigkeit und auch die Rewrite-Rules von Cloudflare funktionieren perfekt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.
Die einzige merkwĂĽrdige Sache, die mir bei Sitejet aufgefallen ist, habe ich bereits in meinem letzen Post ein wenig vorhergesagt:
Im Website Manager bekomme ich alle 2 - 3 Tage die Meldung “Website nicht erreichbar”, obwohl die Seite online ist. Ich kann diese Meldungen einfach ignorieren, aber sie ist offensichtlich nicht korrekt. Ich glaube, das liegt an einem DNS-Check, aber bin mir hier nicht sicher. Vielleicht können die Sitejet-Devs hier ein wenig mehr Einblick geben.
Abgesehen davon funktioniert es bisher hervorragend!
yes, those notifications are very general and basic. The DNS check actually checks frequently if there is any server (we use) globally that does not connect to the website. Usually, that is not an issue because in general you get re-routed within milliseconds… but just in case, you could always use a tool like DNS checker to check if there is something bigger happening.
Those notifications can also be disabled, if you are not a fan of them
Anyway, thank you soooo much for yor sharing your experience. This really helps a lot - especially for other users who think of using Cloudflare services.
