While this feature has worked well for us in the past, we have encountered continuous problems with it not working recently.
When wanting to schedule an element to go live at a specific date/time, the element looks live in the CMS, but doesn’t show on the live site. (Cache cleared and viewed from different devices.)
And a similar issue persists when we attempt to set and expiration. But this time, the element doesn’t even get deleted or hidden.
Basically, it seems like this function simply doesn’t do anything anymore. Was there an update that broke it? I’ve looked elsewhere on the forums and I haven’t seen anyone talking about it, but it could also just be an underutilized feature.
Also, this occurs on multiple sites we have in Sitejet. Not just one.
On the ‘About’ page within site ID 193047, there is a list of employees. If, for example, an employee gives notice that they intend to leave the role in two weeks, we set their block to expire at that time. This is set on the block contains the employee name, photo, title and email. Once we come back to check if it worked (or the client asks why they are still on the website), we find that the block is still there in the editor and on the live site, and the schedule seems to have gotten reset. The same happens when someone is hired and doesn’t start for a few days, so we schedule the block to go live, but it never shows on the live site. (We are using the .preset-boxes-grid-v3-default for this specific example. but we have experienced this with events we have tried to hide on site ID 246300.)
