CMS - serious issues during the last few days

Does the CMS have a serious problem at the moment?

I am facing some unexplainable issues the last few days.
Some of my German Sitejet colleagues report weird problems as well.

For example:
Elements I worked on yesterday and got it working in the end disappeared (yes, I saved it before!)
I worked on the menu area and top bar for example.
My top bar doesn’t stick on top but disappears behind the menu area.
Or - like now - the top bar is there but the menu is gone.

The logo (used before with now problems at all) is pixelated .
Same problem with other images.

System freezes when saving changes.
And after I closed it and opened it again, my previous work is gone.
Now for example the menu area which I worked on for hours (!) is completely gone again.

Is anyone else here having these issues?

@Barbara_Bichler could you give us a time frame and please note when the issues occur again.

A number of glitches here as well.

Implemented changes, new elements (saved, of course) are suddenly gone the next day …

Also, Brave doesn’t display our Ecwid shop. Chrome works fine.

(This error was pointed out to me by another SiteJet user …)

Yes, there is something wrong with the CMS can you please check and update?

Hello everybody,

yes, there has been an issue yesterday evening around 18.35 – 18.50 UTC +1.
I wanted to log out from the backend (around 18.35 I guess) and so I clicked on the logout button and during the logout process the partner.sitejet.io wasnt suddenly available any longer. I have been checking my other websites online and every single one made with Sitejet wasnt available (same error screen like in the added picture). I am using Chrome all the time (What browser am I using?) and I have been checking also with another browser Opera (What browser am I using?), during the “unavailable issue”. I could reach other websites and my internet connection has been working.

It really would appreciate some information to those reported issues. I guess for everyone using sitejet for its business the reliability of a running system is the most important component.
Please try to figure out what was going on – at least to that possible “downtime” yesterday evening.

Right now I am confronted with this error screen information.

I will clear my cache and so on like suggested of course, but I wanted to report it in case of any link to my downtime from yesterday

Hi there!
I’ve also experienced some glitches …
Server side:

  • Deleting/Uploading a file - the request remains pending … basically the server is not responding.

Frontend side:

  • In the CMS inside a Collection Listing after I add a class to an element(this issue is mostly with text-based elements) … I can’t delete the class without reloading the CMS
  • There are others here but, I don’t have step-by-step instructions to replicate them … for instance sometimes I can’t access the Code Editor without reloading the CMS
  • Sometimes, after I add a headline element I can’t add a class on the headline itself … because is shown as “Undefined” in the Class panel …

In general, the CMS feels less stable.

Just tried to login but partner.sitejet.io/login does not work.

It was loading forever (at least 5 minutes) and then failed with “504 Gateway Time-out”

Browser: Google Chrome

Tried other pages - internet is working perfectly.

Like last week, some mail accounts do not work …

Thank you all for giving us valuable information.

We are still investigating and monitoring the situation. Currently, it is safe to say that there has been a server issue in the morning that caused a congestion which resulted in saving errors. Those issues are solved now.

We will update you all accordingly on the status page shortly.

I would like to ask everybody that still has email issues, to email us (help@sitejet.io) with the following information. We need a clear description about the issue as this is probably not related to the server issues some others are mentioning:

  • Website ID
  • Email address
  • Are emails working through the web mailer?
  • Are emails only sent but not received or the other way around?
  • Have you tried to reset the settings in your mail client?
  • Any error message you are receiving?

If you like, please copy the URL of this thread as well, so we know the connection.
