GDPR compliant native cookie solution

Sorry guys, but I want to bring up the cookie banner discussion again.
I know we can implement CCM19, Cookiebot and other third party tools.
But as many other website tools come with legally correct solutions on board I (and many other Sitejet users I recon) would highly appreciate a built-in cookie banner solution that complies with current legal requirements.

The beautiful thing about the current Sitejet cookie banner is unlimited options to style it. So if it would also be legally correct, it would not only be a great feature for us users but a great USP for the tool.

Yes, that’s right, the cookie banner should of course be 100% legally correct.

Totally agree with you, Barbara — a fully compliant, built-in cookie banner would be a major improvement.

We’ve also been working on ensuring GDPR/DSGVO compliance in our Sitejet projects and, while external tools like Cookiebot work, they often add complexity and extra dependencies.

A native Sitejet solution with:
– proper consent categories (essential, analytics, marketing, etc.),
– consent logging, and
– automatic blocking of non-essential scripts until approval
would be ideal — both for legal compliance and user trust.

Definitely +1 for this request.
