Eco-Con Template Extremely Laggy

Hello! I have just started using SiteJet to build my website. I have chosen the Eco-Con template (banner image of man in hard hat with wind turbines in background). However, this template has proven to be extremely laggy to the point of frustration. Can anyone advise why this is, and how to fix it? It’s not a PC performance issue. The lag occurred immediately and has persisted across saving and reloading.

I’m using SiteJet through cPanel.

I’m using Vivaldi browser.

I’m happy to provide any additional info that may help diagnose. However, I’ve seen other issues on this forum about laggy templates, so I assume it’s something in the web code, but I don’t have the experience to diagnose on that front.

Anyone with some insight? I’m still facing this debilitating issue. I will have to move to another site builder if this is not resolved.

could you please explain in more detail what exactly you mean by the “template is laggy”?
