Please help me with my website issues. After updating and publishing the site, the images are not showing, and the text looks different from the page preview before it was published. Has anyone encountered this problem? See attached.
Hey there,
During the weekend, cPanel implemented a hotfix for the publishing issue with assets like images. It seems there was a bug from cPanel not picking up all files from our servers.
Would you be able to republish and check if this issue still occurs?
I am also experiencing this with images that I have uploaded so Sitejet. It is strange, it is not all images.
In the console in chrome I can see the fetch of the image is coming back with a 404. The image DOES show in the site builder view, but disappears when viewing the published website. I have tried uploading the image again, republishing, etc.
Hey there,
Please make sure that your Sitejet version as well as the server is up to date.
Then delete the image folder from the server, make a small change inside the Website Builder and publish again. Probably 2-3 times publishing might be necessary. If that still does not work, please send us a ticket with a link to this post, as well as your logs. I will then get in touch with cPanel devs to check specifically for your website. ![]()
Hello Andre, thanks for the reply. I have taken the steps you recommended, but unfortunately have not been able to resolve this. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to see what version of Sitejet I am running nor where to find logs specifically around it. If you have any info I can pull I would be happy to share. I have shared my site details in a DM to you.
Hey there,
Please send me a ticket instead via https://help.sitejet.io/hc/en-us/requests/new - we do not track the DMs. The ticketing is the easiest way ![]()
