(cPanel) Publishing malfunction

I did a really small change to my website by changing a phone number. Used the publish button just like thousand time before, and the result is a “distorted” website. Stylesheets malfunction and images are not displayed. I tried clearing the cache and published several times, no success. Tried different browsers for publishing, no success. Folder \tmp\locks\ is empty. This is on the cPanel v132.0.22. I cannot find the version for SiteJet. Luckily the builder is just fine, showing everything in place, and all the source files are there intact. The preview site looks all good. Published website is a small disaster, as I mentioned. I did not change the provider or anything else on a structural/fundamental level. It was a content update to my website just like any other before. Previous update was on 10th of January 2026, I was adding a new blog item, and it was ok then.

Soon afterwards my other websites had another problem: I could not enter the editor at all. I contacted the service provider and they told me my IP was blocked, also showing me how to unblock it if it happens again.

This resolved all my problems, publish is working ok.

Hey there,

During the weekend, cPanel implemented a hotfix for the publishing issue with assets like images. It seems there was a bug from cPanel not picking up all files from our servers.

Would you be able to republish and check if this issue still occurs?

Hi Andre,

Issue did not occur after provider did the action mentioned. I published normally twice on Sunday.
