Is there an auto-save feature for the Web site builder? My developer said he lost hours of work. I’m not sure how. But I was hoping there is a way to revert back. Kind of like in Divi WordPress theme by elegant themes. Thank you.
Hi! There is the Backups Manager that you can find in the Edit (menu) → Backups.
Sitejet will automatically create a backup every 5-10 min depending on the activity in the website builder, but you can also create and name specific backups.
You can learn more about this feature here: Backup Manager - Sitejet Help
Hope this helps!
thank you for this. my dev said it didn’t save any of his work from yesterday. Tough day.
Hello !
I would like to jump on this one too.
Because I think there is a real issue with the cms_autosave functionality.
I, too, remember that I have worked on different websites in Septembre/October, and I can recall that for many hour-long working sessions, ZERO cms_autosave backup was made by Sitejet.
That seems to be confirmed when I look at my backup histories : where there should have dozens of 5-10 min intervalle backups, none or only one backup exist ! You can look at ID 326844 or 324515 or 325904 in my published websites.
I think this is a prioritary issue to tackle with… Because…
Well, no reliable backup could lead to a disaster to us ;).
Hi @Thomas_Dandel,
do you still have this issue with the cms_autosave backup?
Hello @Martin . Well I think that yes, the issue is still there.
No cms_autosave when I work on my projects…
Hi @Thomas_Dandel,
how is your saving routine? Do you save very often? Normally a cms_autosave will be created after 5min when you do stuff in the CMS without saving in this time span. The timer gets reset when you press on save.
