CSS is completely ignored

Right at the end of building a site suddenly the WYSIWYG editor displayed weirdly, this then translated through to the published pages.
Despite the config all being set, the CMS and live files saved from CMS ignore all CSS. The fonts, positioning and a lot of CSS edits have gone completely - everything displays in Times and no layout changes display. The underlying code is in the CMS (i.e. Raleway specified as the font, colours changed etc,) but all of these specs are dropped.
Does anyone have any ideas to re-instate it?
Back-ups work, but I have to wind back a couple of hours and lose a lot of work and detailed changes.

Do you have the preview link?

I bet there’s a line of CSS that errored out and broke your CSS code. Happens to me a lot when editing CSS too fast

Thanks for thinking about this for me.
No preview now as I went back to the last backup that was OK and rebuilt it.
It happened before when I was just messing around and getting the feel for Sitejet. This is the first real site and really annoying. If I inspected the the site in Chrome it wasn’t calling any css so the display was default browser settings - hence the Times H1 etc
I can’t seem to find anyway to get SJ to rewrite the links to the css in the head.
What is weird is that the CMS as well as the site loses the CSS, the WYSIWYG preview was not displaying properly either, i.e. Times displaying for font despite Raleway being set and showing in the panels etc
Any ideas?

Have you checked the CSS panel in SJ for any prompted errors?

Yep - nothing there :slightly_frowning_face:

Hey Tony, could you please post the preview link here?

Hi Andre
I cloned the up to date / correct site. Unfortunately the back-ups are not cloned. So I wound back through the back-ups of the correct site until it broke: Home - Amazing handmade environmentally friendly natural wax scented candles and reed diffusers
The correct display of the site can be seen here: Home - Amazing handmade environmentally friendly natural wax scented candles and reed diffusers
Thanks
Tony

Hi there, @Tony_Dawson,

When you open the CMS to the website, you immediately get the CSS error (no parameter named $arrow-space). The line was removed, and the CSS seems to work now. Could you please check?

Thanks André
Yes that has fixed it - thank you. What I don’t understand and is part of my learning curve working out the quirks with SiteJet, is why that occurred? I did not touch, add or delete any of the SCSS where the error was. Any ideas?

I may be wrong, but I believe older Preset SCSS Mixins error out from time to time as new presets get installed to the CMS

That could be a reason - we are looking into it. Usually, all presets and templates will be upgraded, and we extensively test before we publish, of course!
