May I ask why you used another cookie solution (instead of the Sitejet feature)?
Just curious because basicely in Germany we need to let visitors disagree with cookies.

Honestly, I’m still using the old preset from Sitejet, as I’ve integrated it into my template. I should probably switch to the new one

I see that you are located in Switzerland where the GDPR rules are probably not as serious (and crazy) as in EU countries, right?

Yes, the laws in Switzerland are not equally strict. But I will still pay better attention to that in the future.

Yes, I use a single collection for the events to output both languages. So each field exists twice - once for german and once for english.
The only problem is that the slug for english and german is the same.
In this case the title is always the event name and so it is the same in english and german and this problem is not a problem.
