Issues with Commerce Feature

Hi,

Thanks for support so far. I am happy to be on board.

In another thread here I saw already, that the Control Panel Connection is currently not working.

Additionally, I see further communication problems between sitejet and Ecwid. For example, when I add the category overview, it doesn’t include the pictures of the categories.

Likewise, if I add the products function, it doesn’t update as well. If I save the page, it doesn’t update, and if I deploy, it gets completely lost.

Thanks for an idea.

Edit: I have tried to update the page and to restart sitejet. I am using the plesk version.

Hey Oliver,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please give us the website ID and a screencast of what is happening there? We like to check this on your website first and then try to reproduce this.

If you feel uncomfy with sharing this here, please send us a ticket with a info that this is posted here.

Happy to assist.

Hi André,

Thanks again for your kind answer.

I am not sure about my website id, but i assume it might be this one: 894127

Here is a link of the category overview, that i amtrying to add.
It adds without any pictures of the categories.

If I instead use the product overview, I can add the category overview, which is then with pictures, but I don’t want the products and the categories in the same box.

Thanks.

Oliver

Ok, meanwhile I understand that my design options with the category overview are obviously limited.
I will try to design this later manually, by creating containers with linked elements.

But what else is a bit annoying are the URLs.

This is one of the category urls.

How can I make it more appealing?

Thanks,

Oliver

Ok, found the solution to this one as well.

Will try, after I designed the whole thing.

Hi,

so today I was working on the before mentioned issues.

I am not really happy with the result so far.

  1. I still can not just show an overview of certain categories. I have to show all categories and only in the product overview included.
  2. If I try to solve this by creating some clickable boxes, linking to the category pages, my URLs get really messy again, with # and !

If I can only choose between those 2 options, I will not become happy with the solution Sitejet + Ecwid, I think.

Hi @Andre ,

now, I need to come back to you, as I need your help again.

We decided now, to move to another domain.

  1. I would like to move the shop just to the new domain, without setting everything up again. But if I login to Sitejet on the new domain and enter the shop section, again it wants me to create a trial shop. How can I just move the shop from the old domain to the new one? Or do I really have to cancel the current trial and open a new one? The ecwid support sent me here.
  2. Additionally, I would like to move my built website from the old domain to the new one? How can this be done?

Thank you.

Oliver

Hello? @Website_Support

Hey Oliver,

If I understand you correctly, this is the situation. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You have Website No 1 and a shop in there. You then moved to Website No2 and want to move the shop as well, correct? I will have to check with our developers if there is any way to move the shop from one website to another.

Regarding to transfer of a website we only do offer the Copy and Share feature in that case. But, since this question is also related to the server structure, I would like to ask you to get in touch with the Plesk support on this to check if they have any other way as well.

Keep us on the loop here.

Ok, I was able to move the website via the built-in copy&share-function.

If you could check back with the developers to move the shop, that would be great.

Otherwise, I will download the products, close the shop and reopen a new one.

Thanks.

Hey @Oliver_Jordanov would you be able to send us a ticket / mail with your two Website IDs and the email you registered the Shop with? Also a link from this thread? We might need to check if this is possible but we dont want you to share any sensible info here.

Thank you.
