How to unlist an item from the collections?

I am using the collections for a real estate website.
I UNCHECK the “listed” checkbox, but the items still showing on the website.
How can I DISABLE one item?

Hey Marco,

Can you please log into the Website Builder and copy me the number in the URL? With that Website ID I can access your website and check for myself if there is any issue there.

Also, I would need to know which item you are trying to “unlist” Can you maybe walk me through step by step what you are actually doing?

Hey Andre,
thanks for jumping in and greetings from bulgaria!

So the Website ID is 666345
and the Item (one of them) that should be UNlisted is called:
“Das perfekte Haus am Meer” (screenshot for reference CleanShot 2024-11-25 at 15.43.03 · CleanShot Cloud)

BUT: there are more items that should be set to not listed.

thx for you help.
Marco

Great. Let me get back to you tomorrow on this :raised_hands:

looking forward for a solution :star_struck:

Hey Marco,

since you have a checkbox “gelistet” you could just add another filter to it:

Now, only items are listed, that are “listed” Does this help?

(I did not save the progress)

I also tested it, and it’s a perfect filter for real-estate, because those listings will become available again as people move/sell their homes.

Thank you, André!

Hey Richard. Thanks! Yes, that is kind of like a published / unpublished data field. I did not check though if the item gets unpublished, but I guess its good to have it online as it helps with SEO. And you just set it to “sold” as well… maybe through a nice button. The more quality content the better.

exactly. thats how we wanted to use and why we built it with the collections.
The Page is really nice!

Sadly, @Andre you’re right. The items are STILL visible, which is not that good, but like you said:
“Sold” Button and done
trying to achieve this now!

@Vantroba_Marco, that is strange because it worked in my case.
@Andre, any idea why? :man_shrugging:
I’d like to know, because I’m busy learning every aspect of collections at this stage.

Marco, did you check and uncheck each individual item in the collection manager like so?

Just open the URL for the item  its showing up normal

Can you post the URL again? Since you are a plesk user, did you re-publish the website so that the changes can take effect on the actual website?

This is the URL:
/de/immobilien-in-bulgarien/

And its definitely not offline, but still visible.
Sadly i dont know how to add a “badge” (text with background container) like here:
