Form Placeholder text not showing

As you can see in the image, the form background is set to white and placeholder text to black. It is the same for hover and focus. The placeholder text doesn’t show unless the input box is selected for input. Should the values here not override others (important!)?

It looks like that’s the CSS that’s causing the color to match the background - can you override this with your own CSS?

should be fixed by just adding the element again and deleting the other element.
