Good morning.
I do thinking about a simple calendar container that can
-
show short information “text & thumb”.
-
will do open a lightbox by onclick with full text and image.
-
Can handle colors in title as “flags” for “filter-sorting”. (All, Developers, Users, Group1, Group2… )
-
Optional Userroles and Passwords for internal and team events…
-
Optional “compatible” to “Forgejo” and “Mediawiki” _Members…
NO booking app or ticket sales stuff…
ONLY a simpele calender please.
Sure for Plesk please…
Hey Buschmann_Driptronic_Com — welcome to the community!
Great to have you here and awesome first post!
I really like your idea — a simple, clean calendar (without all the booking and ticketing stuff) would be super useful for many of us, especially for internal teams and project planning.
Here are a few things that have worked well for me in Sitejet:
- Google Calendar: One of the easiest solutions — just create a calendar and embed it using an iFrame. It’s not super customizable in design, but it’s quick, reliable, and supports multiple calendars, color-coding, and sharing.
- FullCalendar.io: If you want more control and features like lightboxes, color flags, and custom styling, this open-source calendar works great inside a Sitejet custom code block.
- For internal/team-only use, pair either option with Sitejet’s restricted pages to keep things private.
- And since you mentioned Plesk — hosting your own lightweight calendar app and embedding it in Sitejet is also a solid solution if you want full freedom.
Big +1 to your feature request — would love to see something like this built into Sitejet natively in the future.
Let me know if you need help with any of these options — happy to share more!
