Sitejet Strips Exif Data of Images inlcuding Author/Credit/Artist

Hello, just want to ask if there’s any possibility of Sitejet not stripping all EXIF Data from the Images uploaded in the Website Builder?
If no, what is the reasoning for stripping them in the first place - as the Credit/Author/Artist information is important.

For Stock Photos it is just a big safety net to have them still intact - and we include a Photo Credit Page on our Websites usually where we readout the EXIF Data of all images of the Website to show the Credit.

Hey Manuel, thanks for writing. Let me check this with the developers :slight_smile: Do you have the behavior only when you use the “optimize” feature?

Hey there Andre,

yes, seems like it is doing it with optimized Images only. Wich i obviously would like to use, for pagespeed reasons.

The non optimized Image had the Credit Info still intact.
