(Not sure if this should go in Feature Requests or Community Help)
Hi there,
I had a client looking over their privacy policy page who noticed a few typos. I also looked at my own site and saw the same typos.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing one example of a mistake. Is there anyway these can be fixed? They’re mostly words without spaces in between, no big deal, but still something that would be nice to be fixed. I know I can copy all the text into my own text element and fix the mistakes on my own (and that’s what I’ll do for a quick fix for this client) but this seems like a clunky process to do for all my clients.
Thanks so much. I have moved this to the bugs section and reported it to the devs. By the way, I think you need to verify you community account to appear “verified” and not greyed out
Olivia, it makes a lot of sense to be able to edit the policy even because they can be very different for each subject or each country, a law firm may have different standards than a hotdog maker.
You can easily copy the text and adjust it to your own needs and set up an own privacy policy and legal notice. The privacy policy provided by Sitejet was created by a lawyer, and it is intended to provide standardized guidance for creating a privacy policy without being able to guarantee that the guidance is legally compliant. Since it is a standardized solution, we explicitly advise (e.g. in our FAQs ( FAQ - Sitejet)) to adapt it to the customer’s needs. We make no claim that it is correct for your country or complete.
