Plesk | Sitejet creates double meta tags which prevent pages being indexed

I noticed about week ago that almost all of my website content has disappeared from Google. I hadn’t changed anything.

All my pages show these lines of metadata:

**<meta name="robots" content="none" />** 

**<meta name="robots" content="index,follow" />**

Google interprets “none” as “noindex”.

This problem seems to have started after Sitejet Builder 1.0.4 20 November 2023 update.

I just found an old ticket from you on this matter. Actually, the issue should have been resolved with the release three months ago.

Let me check with our Dev if there is any correlation or anything else that you can do.

Just checking: Have you tried to republish the website? Did you check your robots.txt as well?

Issue is fixed, it was solved by simply editing my site and hitting “Publish” which I hadn’t done in few weeks because of the issue.
