Is there any community for hire? I tried Fiverr but the person representing themselves as know sitejet clearly knew less than I did.
I have a clients site “ripped” from a Wordpress site.
I was hoping the importer would do more I guess.
Is there someone here that can help me migrate the site?
It’s not terribly complicated I’m happy to share the zip if you want to evaluate.
I think in total it’s about 8 pages, no e-commerce, just static content & a contact form.
I’ve tested the import function. All it does is port in the content and then you have to design it. Basically you add your design elements as needed then drag and drop the imported text where you want it to go ---- and style it.
In reality all it saves you is the copy & paste and/or typing by hand.
It’s neat. I also wish it did more. I only have a week using Sitejet and I already love it. I do build websites for a living but I am not sure my 1 week of ‘practice’ qualifies as more experiences as you, probably.
Here is the site that I have created so far (which is still in progress):
Hi Imre, I am German and looking for a Sitejet Pro for my own business.
I help women to start their business with strategy and personality - which includes corporate design and a professional website to start with.
As I have learned Sitejet DIY, I am looking for some expert to support whenever needed (mostly to finish the project).
Meaning, I start the project in Sitejet and build the website as far as I can and some technical expert joins afterwards and does the more advanced stuff for me.
Is a cooperation like this interesting for you?
If so, when can we talk personally?? Regards, Barbara
I think it might be a good idea for the admins to set up a Section where SiteJetters can post their services for hire and others can post projects they need to hire for. I personally wouldn’t mind outsourcing projects to the community or creating joint ventures. It’s not common to find SiteJetters on Fiverr. @Andre what do you think?
