Naming Sections in the Navigator

Hi Sitejet team and community,

I love using Sitejet, but one thing that slows down the workflow—especially on larger pages—is that we can’t easily name or label sections in the navigator or layout panel.

Right now, every section just looks like “container” or “section,” and unless I dig into the element or use custom classes, it’s hard to keep track of what each one does.

What would help:

  • A label/name field for any section (e.g. “Hero”, “About Us”, “Contact”)
  • Show class or ID names visibly in the layout navigator
  • Optionally allow notes or tags just for visual reference

This small improvement would make a big difference for:

  • Navigating large projects
  • Collaborating with teams
  • Managing client projects more efficiently

I know there are workarounds (like using classes or IDs), but it would be so much better to have visual, editable labels right in the builder.
