My thoughts on the article "Sitejet 2025 Wrapped"

I just read the article “Sitejet 2025 Wrapped.”
It’s great to see everything that has been achieved this year. I am very grateful that Sitejet is constantly evolving.

Our agency has been relying on Sitejet for years and we already have well over a hundred Sitejet projects online.

However, with all the AI tools, which are of course a good selling point, I would ask you not to forget that there are other important areas where Sitejet definitely needs to improve. This is my view as a rather demanding customer.

In my opinion, the following areas definitely need to be optimized:

  • The image editing options (cropping, aspect ratio, etc.) are incredibly fiddly, nerve-wracking, inflexible, and buggy. This could be done much better. To the article i wrote years ago.
  • The customer CMS is very neglected. I would like to see more settings options for what the customer can and cannot edit. In addition, there is a complete lack of professional implementation for larger projects, where customers without much prior knowledge can easily create their own pages in the customer CMS and insert prepared elements/presets. To the article i wrote years ago.

Please take care of these things as well. This is so important that Sitejet becomes relevant even for more demanding customers and keeps customers whose demands are increasing on board.

Hi Patrick,

thank you for your feedback

We will have a huge focus project on simiplifying the website builder which will also affect the Customer CMS, so keep an eye out for updates on that in 2026.

Happy holidays and happy new year for now! :christmas_tree: :fireworks:

I agree. Another important thing to improve is how collections are set up. The UI ist really weird compared to other tools. Also not userfriendly at all for our clients who want to publish articles or other collection items in a regular basis.
