I find it technically very tricky to set up a blog from scratch with Sitejet.
So it would be really, really handy to have any template come with a blog or some sort of collection as a (technical) starter point.

have you tried the blog templates? It literally sets up a collection and the listing in one go:
You select any of the templates in the left content panel. I chose “blog”.
I dragged that to the location I want to have it. Then name it:
… and boom goes the dynamite:
Single Page Layout created:
… and a few collection entries:
It is also taking the design of the website and you just have to adjust everything to your need

Ah, sorry! Didn’t try that lately.
But on first sight it seems to work fine.
But still, there are some templates including a blog/collection by default (and I find this very handy).
