How to direct a page hosted in a subdomain to home page

Hi,

I have a page with URL as sudomain.mydomain.com and when user clicks on this page, they should be directed to home page.

How to achieve this in the sitejet - using 301 redirects?

Hi! I think there are 2 scenarios here:

  1. Your domain is brought thought SiteJet - in this case you can use the redirect feature.
  2. Your domain is only connected to SiteJet (is registered outside SiteJet) - see requirements bellow

If your domain is connected to SiteJet, before doing anything you need to make sure that:

  1. mydomain.com is added to SiteJet (basically your existing domain is pointing to Sitejet - see more here)
  2. sudomain.mydomain.com is also pointing to SiteJet (using CNAME) - see more here

If all the above requirements are met then you can use the redirect functionality from SiteJet - see more here: Redirects - Sitejet Help

I tried to do the same, but isn’t working for me. Did this work out for you? Im uncertain on how exactly to define the subdomain in the redirect instruction in sitejet (bu tried different variations without result…).
