How can I remove font background highlighting

Hello,

I am working on a site and there is a highlight type of appearance behind my font in a text box. Can someone please let me know how I can remove it as it does not look nice at all. I would prefer transparent background behind the font.

Try pasting your text into NotePad, then paste it back in SiteJet. It will clear all hidden codes.

There is an additional “background” tab when setting Font colour. Mark the text you want to edit, click ont font colour and then find the “background” tab next to font colour.

The shortcut to paste text without formatting (i.e. plain text) depends on your operating system and the app you’re using:

:laptop: Windows

  • Shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + V
  • Works in: Chrome, Firefox, some editors (not all Windows apps support it)

:green_apple: Mac

  • Shortcut: Cmd + Shift + Option + V
  • Works in: Most Mac apps that support rich text (like Notes, Mail, etc.)

:memo: Alternative (for any system):

  • Paste into a plain text editor first (e.g., Notepad on Windows, TextEdit in plain text mode on Mac), then copy and paste again.
