Extend the functionality of the dynamic data (collections)

Hi! Right now, the dynamic data implementation in SiteJet is quite basic (which is fine for simple things) but I’ve seen that SJ users are hitting the limits on this.

In general collection fields can be assigned only to the content of: Headline element, Text element (on this element we can’t bind the link also), Image element, Audio, Video, Container element (CMS field)

Please allow to bind the data to other attributes and elements like:

  • Button (content+link),
  • YouTube (video source ), Vimeo (video source)
  • Document (file),
  • Iframe (url),
  • Icon (name),
  • SVG (file),
  • Map(location)

P.S The Gallery element has a bug (I can’t assign a file type field to it)

+1000 for this. Any body has luck when nesting collections within collection using CMS type?

Has this bug been fixed or am I just missing something on how to link a gallery to a collection field?
