#1 Google Analytics 4 Update
You might have heard that as of July 2023, Google will no longer support the Google Analytics Universal service. Instead, you will only be able to use the latest version called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). But no need to worry, we got you covered! You can now add the GA4 property ID in the Google Analytics ID field under More > SEO. Please note that for the tracking to work properly, you will only need to add the ID similar to this: G-1A2B3C456 - no other script is needed!
#2 New handling of date field in forms
We have updated the handling of the date field in forms. A website visitor can now only select a date using the date picker! It is no longer possible to type in the date and thus bypass the restriction of the earliest date to pick.
#3 Option to deactivate image optimization
You can now decide if you want to use our integrated image optimization tool which automatically compresses images to improve page speed or if you want to deactivate it to show the original image without any compression.
Double-click on an image element to open the settings panel on the left and look for the Optimized checkbox. To deactivate the feature simply deactivate the checkbox.

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für ein Release!
#1 Google Analytics 4 Update
Möglicherweise hast du es ja schon gehört, aber ab Juli 2023 wird Google seinen bisherigen Google Analytics Universal Service einstellen und nur noch Google Analytics 4 (GA4) unterstützen. Aber kein Grund zur Sorge - du kannst wie gewohnt das Google Analytics ID-Feld unter Mehr > SEO nutzen, um die Property ID dort zu hinterlegen. Bitte beachte, dass in diesem Feld nur die ID, also z.B. G-1A2B3C456 akzeptiert wird - weiterer Code aus dem Google Skript wird nicht benötigt.
#2 Anpassungen beim Datumsfeld in Formularen
Ab sofort können Website-Besucher nur noch ein Datum aus dem Kalender auswählen und nicht mehr händisch ein Datum hinterlegen. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass Website-Besucher tatsächlich nur noch die Daten auswählen können, die in den Einstellungen festgelegt wurden - so wird vermieden, dass Datumswerte eingetippt und abgeschickt werden können.
#3 Automatische Bildoptimierung kann deaktiviert werden
Ab sofort kannst du entscheiden, ob du die automatische Bildoptimierung von Sitejet deaktivieren möchtest. Mit der Bildoptimierung werden Bilder komprimiert, um die Ladegeschwindigkeit der Website zu verbessern. Solltest du das (vereinzelt) nicht mehr wollen, kannst du die Bildoptimierung deaktivieren. Dafür musst du nur über einen Doppelklick auf ein Bild-Element die Einstellungen öffnen und nach der Option Optimiert gucken. Durch das Deaktivieren der Checkbox wird die Bildoptimierung deaktiviert und das Bild wird in Originalgröße angezeigt und geladen.
