Custom HTML Content

Hi!

Really love the Sitejet builder, but in some situations it would be helpful to have the possibility to add custom html as a Content or Preset Element in Sitejet for our endusers.

Sitejet already has an amazing amount of pre-made content items, but sometimes it would be handy to make a custom html content element and make it available to all our endusers.

This could be handled via e.g. a special Sitejet API endpoint. So that as a provider we can push extra content elements to enduser’s Sitejet website builder.

Hi @Hellhound_Hell did you try to use our HTML element? You can put your custom HTML into this element, or did you mean something else?

Hey @Hellhound_Hell - if I understood you correctly, you like to pre-design your own elements and presets and save them for your clients, so they are able to use them?

@Andre yes, exactly, this is what I’m looking for. It would allow for greater flexibility for hosters to add functionality and make it a bit easier for our users.

@Martin this is only helpful when we design / make the website for the enduser. In most cases the enduser will do this themselves using the Sitejet builder, but don’t have a lot of HTML know-how to use the HTML element.

So I would like to “prepare”, in advance, some pre-made HTML elements, similar like the Sitejet Builder already provides, but specific to our customer’s additional use cases.

Hey @Hellhound_Hell - I see! Thanks for confirming.

Actually, this is already a feature request. There is currently a workaround explained here:

… but we are also working on a solution to share own presets. This is on our roadmap for this year so far but no deadline is set yet.

If it is okay for you, I would close this thread and you add your voice to the other thread. Ok?

Hi @Andre ,

Ok, let’s do that.

The workaround is not applicable though, since this still can only be done by myself and not the end-user/customer.

But thanks for the heads-up that this request already existed. Didn’t find it in my search before I wrote this request.
