cPanel | Missing password option for sub-pages

Hi,

The option for setting a password for a subpage does not appear for me in Siteject builder. Judging by an other post on this subject, this may be because I’m using CPanel. Last time I asked for support on an issue related to Sitejet from the web host provider, I got told they can’t help with Sitejet questions. Does anybody know how to password protect a page?

Thanks Steve

Hy Stephen,

i use Sitejet Builder also for our Homepage and i wanted the same as you. But in the Sitejet Builder its not possible to create a Site with a Password-Login. So i give up my idea.

If you want to buy the full version of sitejet, it would be possible.

Maybe in the future they will update to our wishes, maybe.

Have a nice day

Alex

If you are using Sitejet for cPanel, the password protection is not included in the Website Builder as per this article

https://help.sitejet.io/hc/en-us/articles/24275890100887-Password-protected-pages

You need to go through your panel. For more information, your provider support should be able to help.

Additionally: I found this https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/files/directory-privacy/

Thanks Andre, that’s exactly what I need.
