Video Mp4 size is too big for media upload

Dear all,
I just tried to upload a video into the media section (size 307 MB) and got the error message that the file is too big. How can I change the possible size for a media upload, so we can show the video in our header section.

Hey Clara,

there are several ways to convert and compress your videos.

Any Video Converter program (third party tool - no guarantee)

Online converter (third party tool - no guarantee)

… there are indeed a lot of programs and ways to compress the video. VLC media player also has such a function. I highly recommend checking one of the many guides to do so.

Hi! You can use HandBrake - The open source video transcoder (which is based on FFmpeg) … to convert and compress your video.
However, it is a bit strange that you get the error message that the file is too big. In SiteJet the file size limit that you upload (documented in the help section) is 1-2GB.
