Option to write alt text into the image of blog header

Hi,

I would like to define the text of the Alt field of the header image of the blog articles. I can’t find a way to do it.

Is this possible to do?

Hey @Isabel_Dimas and @AJ_Joe,

you can set up an alt text for images in a collection. To do so, please follow these steps:

1. Set up a “Plain text” collection field in your collection with an expressive name like “Alt text main image” or “Alt text Team Member Image” etc.
   

   

2. Add the alt text in the respective item(s)
   

   

3. Go to the page where the collection was added
   

   

4. Double-click on the image element which will open the edit panel on the left side and scroll down to the option “Dynamic content settings”. Here you will find “Get alternative text from” and there you can select the collection field that holds the alt text for that image, in this case, it’s “Alt Text Main Image”
