My URL filters aren't working

Hi Sitejet team! I’ve reviewed the help document and I’m quite certain I’ve built my URL filters properly, but they don’t seem to be working.

Here is the page: 1e5753-5291f.preview.sitejet.io/shop

You can see I have a row of links at the top saying “all products” “free resources” etc., but when I click on them, the URL filter doesn’t get applied to the collection items. I also triple-checked that I have “consider URL filters” checked in the collection settings.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi! I think there is a bug on the Sitejet side(in the JavaScript library).
It doesn’t support URL filters with columns that include “-” hyphens.

So in your example:

!filter[columns.product-type]=Course

… product-type filter is ignored.

So… I guess there are 2 options:

  1. Rename the column key so it doesn’t inlcude any hyphens.
  2. Let Sitejet release a fix

Thanks for pointing this out @Shaina_Nacion - I forwarded this to our developers to investigate if this is a bug and how to fix it. Will get back to you as soon as I know more.

Moved this to ->bugs for the time being.

@Lucian_Dinu @Andre Okay, thank you both! I’m glad it wasn’t just me being dumb :laughing: For now I’ll rename the column to not include the hyphen. Thanks again!
