A feature that would really improve multi-page workflow is the ability to create Global Components — reusable, linked blocks that stay synced across all pages they appear on.
Think of things like:
Footers
Call-to-action sections
Promo banners
Repeated info blocks
Suggested Function:
Create a section and save it as a Global Component
Reuse it across pages
When edited once, it updates everywhere it’s placed
Optionally unlink on a page if needed
This would massively speed up updates and prevent errors from inconsistent changes. Would love to see this added — especially for larger sites!
The “references” feature is definitely useful, but what I was actually suggesting is a bit different — more like global components or symbols.
Here’s what I meant:
The ability to create a custom section, save it as a global component, and reuse it across multiple pages.
When I edit one instance, it should automatically update everywhere it’s used — which would be a huge time-saver and help maintain consistency.
Optionally, there should be a way to unlink a specific instance if I want to make local changes on a single page.
So it’s less about referencing content (like text), and more about reusable layout blocks with structure + styling + content — all dynamically linked unless unlinked manually.
Would love to know if something like this is in the works or planned. I think it could be a game-changer, especially for larger sites!
Hey there, I took a deep dive into our feature request board and there was kind of a similar request years ago, before this community.
Actually, we do not use the term component or section or blocks. Those would be elements, containers, presets.
So, what you are suggesting is giving the user access to a user preset manager with which they can create own presets and re-use them like with the templates. If you agree, I am happy to change your initial post to make it more accessible for others to understand so they can vote on this.
Hey Andre, thanks so much for the thoughtful reply — and yes, I’d love your help in updating the post to make it more accessible!
Just to confirm:
Yes, what I’m suggesting is basically a user preset manager — where users can create and save their own containers or groups of elements (like full sections), and then reuse them across different pages or projects.
But also, ideally with:
The option to link updates globally (like true global presets)
Or unlink when local edits are needed
That way it’s not just about saving design effort, but also ensuring consistency and faster site-wide updates.
If we can describe it that way, I’d be happy to proceed and get votes on it! Let me know what you need from me
