404 error on my website menu and pages

hello,My website keeps saying 404 not found when I click on menu items after publishing.kindly help
website: https://eastafricagoldrefineryltd.com/

It appears that only the home page is showing today [3Jun2025].

404 error message?
This can happen for various reasons, and looking at your website I suspect it’s because of missplet URLs.

Looking at the landing page, there’s a few typos.

For example:
menu says: Patners should be Partners

and

eastafricagoldrefineryltd. com /projets/ BUT menu says: Projects

Have you named the webpages to match descriptions?
For example, on the menu, I clicked: Services

and was directed here

eastafricagoldrefineryltd. com/12642050# ed-698678807

where indeed there’s a 404 message.

Can you see that this URL does not say services anywhere?

On your server is there a file named services?

If you know the webpage files have are uploaded onto your server folder, check the specified path of the website pages and their names. They have possibly been mistyped

So, I think to fix the 404 error messages, your first step is to go through each menu URL and webpages names on your server, to ensure they match the webpage names URLs.

Hi @Betterbest254,

try to reconnect the linked pages in your menu. It seems like that the paths are wrong and reconnecting them should fix it. Please let us know if you need further assistant: https://help.sitejet.io/hc/en-us/requests/new

No response to you or I so far and 404 alerts still there [16Jun2025]

Does Sitejet have a method of advising an OP that there has been a response to their question? If not, where can I suggest this for future forum updates?

Of course, they can’t be forced to respond or return here with updates , however, being new here , I’m curious to know is there such a feature?

Ta!

Hey B,

actually you always get a notification on the site, when you visit this forum. Top right. But (!) you might want to check your notification settings - probably they are disabled to be sent out via mail. or your mail client is moving them into the spam folder?

Usually, notifications are disabled manually by most users though. I just frequently monitor this community, for example

Ok

Thanks for the continued guidance!

Yeh

OP may have disabled manually, so unaware of suggestions.
