I went to upload new stuff on my website and i was surprised by the the unmatched columns not aligned properly, and even when I tried to fix it, nothing changed. I want the columns to be at the same level—that is, aligned horizontally, not vertically—so the entire home page is all messed up. Even when I try to add new columns that aren’t aligned, I get the same error again
Hey Mehdi, I am not sure if I understand it correctly. I just checked your website in the CMS and the preview link. The area you pointed out looks “okay” at first look?
Can you make me a drawing or give us more context? Thank you
Normally, when I set the columns to “unequal,” the default layout (which is what I had before) places all the columns on the same line—meaning the column with the orange border and the one with the green/blue background should be on the same line, not one below the other. So when I try to set the columns to “unequal” again, it won’t put them on the same line, even if I create new ones, and if even if I change it in the flexbox.
i don’t know if this is the probleme but i’ve noticed that when i assign an image slide to one to the unequal columns, it does ruin all the layout, can you please check if there is something missing out when i add the image slider
So we added the unequal-column again for you and made the “broken” one “invisible”.
Apparently, the trick was to adjust the slider’s height again whenever I added more images or made changes; then the slider would reinitialize and adjust itself. Otherwise, it somehow ends up with a width that’s too large, which is why the columns were full-width in his example.
