Hi,
i’m having problems setting up a button to return to the specific element on a previous page.
Old posts sugest using the following:
“pagename#anchor-name " and " /name-of-the-page#ID”
but I can’t make it work. I want to go to the page “Previously” and element “#ed-239433156”
So i’ve created an external link to
“/previously#ed-239433156”
And i’ve failed. My guess is it’s a syntax problem and i’m being a bit dull, so poke away
Hi @Boris_Donkson,
could you please provide us with the link to the preview website and indicate which button should be linked to which element?
Hi Martin
Thank you! by forcing me to look at it again I noticed the ‘name’ of the page and the web address are different.
the page is called ‘previously’
the web address is
'xxxx/previously-6 ’ as i have remade this page 6 times
fixed
Thanks
Hey @Boris_Donkson - dont worry. 6 times is not unusual I got one with 9 versions haha
Anyway, please log into the website builder. Then copy the URL for us and just leave the numbers here. That is actually the Website ID.
Or, you create a preview link for us. That also works

here you are, it was resolved when i realised the page was on version 6
