Hi,
Currently there is no way to create a relationship between collections 1to1, 1toMany or ManyToMany.

Here is an example.

1. Let’s say I have 2 Collections: Authors, Books
2. I would like to have a Reference field (Book-Author) in the Books collection to point to an existing Autor Item

Hi Andre,
Thanks for your suggestion, but … I’m not referring to a way to filter a collection.

I’m referring to a way to connect items from different Collections similar to:

> **[Reference field | Webflow University](https://university.webflow.com/lesson/reference-field)**

> Use reference fields to connect items from different Collections.https://youtu.be/mmWtjy7PQOg

or…

This is an issue for me as well. How did you handle nested collection?

Putting a collection within a CMS datatype field of a collection?

Authors and books.

Any luck with this one? I’m surprised more users aren’t running into trouble with this? Seems like a very needed feature for collections
