# Email template issue

Hi Team,

I am trying to edit the wording in some of the templated emails in the platform.

I only change one word and try to save the template and I get an error on syntax. I have not changed any of the code snippets.

Can you take a look?

All I did in this example is delete the word “beautiful” before the word “website” and I tried to save it.

I was just trying to change the standard template you have provided in the platform. I wanted to change the wording of the “Your change request has been carried out” template.

Am I able to change the wording on the pre-made templates?

Hey @David_McArdle,

found it. Those two conditions caused the syntax error. I have removed them from your template:

Let me check with our developers why this is happening now and how we can fix it.
